The Mermaid Ribbon brings the colours from the world’s great oceans to your typewriter. Type in a gently scrolling mix of blues and turquoises and greens. A mix of inks that will conjure the feelings of the sea.
Each ribbon is made by hand, and will take 3-5 days to prepare.

- Ribbon width is half an inch, standard ribbon width for nearly every typewriter.
- Does not ship with typewriter spools. Use the spools from your current ink ribbon to mount this ribbon to your machine.
- The inks used to make each ribbon are acid-free, fade-resistant, non-toxic and child-safe.
- Each ribbon can be used multiple times. The longest I’ve used a single ribbon was for 6 months, writing each week. Lighter colours will become grubbier with multiple uses over time. Darker colours less so.
- Standard length of ribbon is 2m, which allows about an A4 page of typing before it needs rewound. Longer custom lengths are available, just ask 🙂
